These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Klera's website and services. By using Klera, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Klera is an AI-powered bookkeeping platform operated by Fingra B.V., registered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We provide automated bookkeeping, transaction categorization, and VAT preparation services for Dutch entrepreneurs.

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use of the service. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or use automated systems to extract data without our written consent.

Klera provides software-as-a-service tools for bookkeeping automation. Our services are provided on a subscription basis, per administration. The specific features, limits, and pricing applicable to your engagement are described on our pricing page and in your subscription agreement.

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials on Klera's website and platform are the property of Fingra B.V. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Any data, content, or information you submit to Klera remains your property. You grant us a limited license to use, process, and store this information solely for the purpose of providing our services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are stated exclusive of VAT. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and for all charges incurred under your account. Klera reserves the right to suspend access for overdue accounts.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the use of our services. Klera handles your financial data with strict confidentiality and in accordance with industry security standards and applicable data protection laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability under these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Klera is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our AI categorizations, VAT calculations, or reports are free from error. Klera prepares your bookkeeping and VAT return for you to review and approve; it does not replace professional tax or legal advice, and you remain responsible for filings made to the tax authorities.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Klera may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your right to access the service ends, though certain provisions of these terms survive termination.

Klera integrates with third-party services such as licensed banking connectivity providers (via PSD2), payment processors, and email providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Klera may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
